Roedean

Roedean is a private day and boarding school for girls aged between 11-18. It was founded in 1885  and  moved to its present buildings overlooking Brighton Marina in 1898. During the Second World War the students and staff were temporarily evacuated and the school buildings in Brighton were used by the Navy. As well as classrooms the school has a theatre, swimming pool, a chapel, workshops, studios, laboratories and sports pitches.
